Full Biography

Originally from Massachusetts, Keisha Gilles is a powerhouse vocalist, actor and dancer most known for her roles in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway and Ms. Rachel on YouTube. She is currently the Fortune Teller in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway, featured as the Foreperson in an episode of Law & Order, and can be seen singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the latest episode of Ms. Rachel. Keisha’s warm and engaging stage presence has also been seen in high-profile productions like The Book of Mormon on Broadway, Dreamgirls national tour, and A Christmas Carol at The Hanover Theater in Massachusetts. Keisha’s commitment to her craft is complemented by her dedication to social justice, which she weaves into her artistic pursuits and work as a teaching artist and producer. 

In 2024, she produced her debut solo show, A Bit of Magic, at New York’s iconic 54 Below sharing stories of growth, empowerment, and lessons from her Haitian heritage. In this performance, audiences caught a glimpse into Keisha’s inner life through songs by renowned composers and writers like Doug Lyons, Stephen Sondheim, Adam Guettel, and Sara Bareilles. In addition to producing her debut solo, Keisha also produced the cabarets; Make Them Hear You: An Ode to Black Musicals Vol. 2 and Emancipation: A Juneteenth Celebration at 54 Below.

As a teaching artist, Keisha creates an inspiring, inclusive environment, encouraging others to bring authenticity to their work. She teaches mostly in high school settings creating connections between the arts and school curriculum. Keisha has worked with companies like Disney Theatrical Group, People’s Theatre Project and Roundabout Theatre Company helping students to devise their own works in the disciplines of dance and theater.
