PRODUCING

Creating Dreamy Cabarets

Keisha Gilles is a burgeoning producer in the cabaret space. She got her start producing the cabarets Make Them Hear You: An Ode to Black Musicals Vol. 2 and Emancipation: A Juneteenth Celebration at New York’s iconic 54 Below. Infusing her passion for Black history, Black stories and Black representation into the shows through choice of material and talent line up.

In 2024, Keisha produced her debut solo show, A Bit of Magic, also at 54 Below, sharing stories of growth, empowerment, and lessons from her Haitian heritage. In this performance, audiences caught a glimpse into Keisha’s inner life through songs by renowned composers and writers like Doug Lyons, Stephen Sondheim, Adam Guettel, and Sara Bareilles.

Keisha is looking forward to the cabaret collaborations she has coming up in 2025. She is always on the lookout for new collaborators and likes to lend a helping hand to others who are hoping to produce cabarets of their own. Email her at producing@keisha.gilles.com to connect and create together.
